Unions are overrated.

Don't quit force your employer into firing you then take them to court.

The place my fiance was working did the same thing to her. Unfortunately she did not take my advice. Some other women recently won a 100k$ suit for nearly the same thing:

Even if you quit you can do them for constructive dismissal.

Yesterday morning I saw the immediate aftermath of the following accident while on the way to work:

http://sanfrancisco-on.us...crash-near-mountain-view/

They were just setting up the roadblocks, and I got a quick glimpse of the crash victim, who was lying on the pavement, his lower body covered by a blue tarp.

For a moment I thought the dude was dead...

And that's my feel-good story for the day.

My mother and stepfather were coming back home from dinner at my stepbros they were the first to arrive at a a motorcycle wreck.
Stepfather(retired firefighter) and a nurse attempted CPR for several minutes and were never able to get a pulse. From the way my mother described the guy there was nothing that was going to bring the guy back.

My belated feel good story.

Apparently CPR only saves about 1 in 10 people. A bit disheartening how low it is, but at least that's one person more than if you don't try.

The weather forecast for yesterday was for storms and today was supposed to be cloudy with showers. So far both days have been clear blue skies.

The clouds and showers just left here yesterday give it a little time to cross the ocean.

Housesitting for my parents starting today.

It is both amusing and sad that they felt the need to walk me through certain things like i had not known them and done it for ~15 years while living there.

Trying to plan what I want to do for my 21st birthday on Saturday.  I'm terrible at making decisions, so I'll probably end up doing absolutely nothing.
