Because getting up early is awesome. Seriously. I get up early every day, even when I don't have to. It's refreshing to know that you have the entire day ahead of you.
Even though that sounds good in theory, I just can't get myself to get up early when I don't have to. Sad

I had to put up a bunch of posters/fliers for a seminar presentation I'm moderating Wednesday. I printed out 25 of them and realized I forgot the date, so I had to go back and hand write it on all of them, then it was a matter of dispersing them across 6 floors in 2 buildings. So I definitely got my exercise for today.
Just now, I got an email from my professor saying she didn't see any posters in one of the buildings, so either she walked around with her eyes closed, or someone took them down. But I'm sure not going to put more up.

I'm looking through a classifieds website. Some of the things people are selling are absurd. Like a 3 year old basic internet workstation PC for £350.

Then there is one for a Wii.

Quote
Nintendo Wii

Comes with 1 Wii Remote and 1 Nunchuck, Unlocked with 15 Games.

Please call for more info.

No Time Wasters Please

I expect they would have a lot less time wasters if they actually gave some worthwhile information. So now they'll have either no response, or they'll have lots of people calling to ask about what the games are and deciding not to bother. Roll Eyes

I haven't seen anything worth buying on this classifieds site. It's pretty much Freecycle with prices attached. There was a £20 desk which looked like a good one, but I don't really need it.

Edit: And I just remembered a dream I had last night. I was doing something when I realised I had left my dog tied to a sign post somewhere. So I went there, quite a distance away, and she had a yellow sticker bag on her back. The kind they put parking tickets in. I read the ticket and it said I was being fined for leaving a dog unattended. I was huffing about that and looked down at her again and another ticket had appeared on her back. That one said she was parked illegaly and had to be moved. So I took her home and decided not to pay the tickets because they had no way of telling who the owner was. Then I was arrested and it got a bit hazy after that. I probably had another dream or woke up.

Last night I dreamt my aunt was having a liposuction operation. She was having a fund raising auction while it was going on, so I went to see with my family. It was a high profile auction. One of the items was a lump of yellow, orange and blue marzipan from the 1970s which was engraved like a record with a rare song from a popular TV advert. It went for £200. When I went back later, there were some Germans trying to extract its secrets by rolling it on their arms to take a print of its surface. It kind of just smudged on them.

After the auction I went to see my aunt. The operation was behind a car on someone's driveway. They pretty much just cut a hole in her stomach and stuck a garden hose in then turned the water on.

It wasn't a pleasant dream. Sad

Edit: Now I have to drive somewhere after going to bed at 4am and waking up at 7am. Sad
