We've been having power problems. Apparently the wiring in this place was a mess. Electrician has been working on it for over 5 hours, said he's having to redo like the whole thing...

Spent most of the day throwing away clothes that I don't need and digitizing music before I pack away all my CDs. I think tomorrow is going to have to be a tighten-the-belt-and-get-some-shit-done kind of day. I have a lot left to pack, and various other odds and ends to tend to before I leave next Wednesday.

Oh, and can I stress how absolutely excited I am for Lost tomorrow? Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

Leaving the cold, unrelenting tundra of Minnesota for the rainy, dreary, hippie-laden city of Portland.

Damn, I have to buy another two books for this semester. One is a legitimate book, the other is a copy of an EISA, the prof thought it would be a good idea to print it off and give it to the bookstore so they could copy it and sell it to use, but the bastards are charging $80 for it. Since one kid in the class works at a Kinko's he's going to try and get us a group deal on getting copies made there. He's hoping for $0.08 per page and it's 700+ pages, so we should save a little at least. I can't wait to start 3 hole punching it Roll Eyes

God. I can't imagine how shitty not having a scroll wheel would be...

In high school our computer mice had the prototypical clit mouse (I'm being informal here) found on a lot of laptops.  They sucked.

Those look like they would work so well, but they just don't. I bet the guy who came up with it still uses it because it seems like such a good idea.
