Garage sales sucked today. I only bought 2 things that are semi-game-related Hopefully the flea market will be great, if not, no Treasure Hunt Chronicles for this week. 

But I get to go put a roof on a garage today and tomorrow, so that should be fun

Owww, no treasure hunt chronicles

and "have fun" with the roof...don't fall off while doing so.

Actually, the flea market saved the weekend. So there will be a THC.

The roof was in much better shape than we thought, there's about 1 foot on one side we'll have to replace the wood, but the rest of the roof looked good. Amazing since those shingles were probably at least 40 years old.

I just got this odd email from my Spanish professor...

"listisimos y muy aguzados estudiantes... or queridos estudiantes.

la clase esta cancelada. los examenes estan corregidos--bueno faltan las puntuaciones--y los dejo en la oficina. if you don't understand this e-mail... google.

al margen, muchas gracias por los mensajes tan bonitos y las mejores notas durante estas laaaaargas semanas de trabajo y penitencia sin el huevo de la pascua catolica. especialmente pienso en miguel (mike ryan), josue (josh), mateo (con pablo), brandy margarite, cristo (christ) el de la "Universidad del estado de la Escritura", nati (el del nacimiento), a leon (el de la 9na esfera), russell (you are an island of reality in a world of diario)... !vaya chistes conversos pa'l 102! ustedes si que saben de buenos patrones. en fin, gracias a todos aquellos que siguieron lo de: "la mujer robada no corrige errores porque los sabios pasaran por todo y los sabios los corregiran por el camino"... yo lo lei en "Concolocorvo o el lazarillo de ciegos caminantes".

The class has been cancelled, the exams have been corrected - blahblah puntuation -

Then he thanks a bunch of people and the university and says some random stuff and quotes.

And Jason Mraz is a singer.

And I don't even speak spanish

Yeah, exactly, what the hell? It sounds like she's leaving or something, not that class is canceled tomorrow or the week or whatever.

A professor can't just permanently cancel a class that all of its students both paid for and NEED to graduate. I can only imagine that she's wasted or something. Almost reads like a suicide note...Guess we'll see in the hours to come.

Just be glad she sent out an email and didn't just post a note on the door of the classroom which was the SOP when I was in school...

Did she wrote that too? If so, then that's pretty ironic that she can type in English but decides to make things more difficult by writing an obviously important message in Spanish.

A professor can't just permanently cancel a class that all of its students both paid for and NEED to graduate.

If that would really be the case then I'm sure your school will look for a substitute teacher. It would be pretty crazy if the class would be permanently cancelled yet you still had to do an exam about it.
