I was watching CNN this morning at 11AM my time...there were reporters out there in the eye of the storm at 5AM time in Texas. It was pretty intense, while this reporter was talking a transformer went down and all the lights went out. Hopefully there won't be too much damage done.

I'd do that. Seriously. One of my first dream jobs growing up was to be a storm chaser Smiley

Tom: "In local news, we have more on the approach of Hurricane Rupaul as it makes his or her way up the coast. Let's go live to Ollie Williams with the BlaccuWeather report. Ollie?"
Ollie: "IT'S RAININ' SIDEWAYS."
Tom: "Sounds rough Ollie, Do you have an umbrella?"
Ollie: "Had one!"
Tom: "Where is it?"
Ollie: "Inside out two miles away!"
Tom: "Is there anything we can do for you?"
Ollie: "Bring me some soup!"
Tom: "What kind?"
Ollie: "Chunky!!"
Tom: "All right, we'll get right on that."

Ike has already started to merge with this front. Maybe we'll just get another 48 hours of rain and be done with it, instead of getting a hour or two break.  Tongue Roll Eyes

It's been raining constantly here since some time last night. I was completely soaked after garage saling this morning.
I think we're going to get the remnants of Ike on Monday and it's not supposed to stop until Thursday.
