Wait until you are 26 and go to school through the summer.

No. But your summers get less and less fun as you grow up, so it's just not a big deal.

Honestly, I didn't even realize it was even summer quarter until someone told me.

That is true. Work, more obligations, less game time, ...

That and the fact that when you grow up you don't get as excited anymore as you used to about the summer. And time goes by faster too. I've noticed a few days ago how it's already september but it feels like september 07 isn't that long ago.

Back in Blighty. Sad

Dad got us an upgrade to premium economy, which doesn't sound all that classy but it's between First class and Economy. We got more leg room, better food (And more!) better service and no plebs ruining the flight for us.

We then got into the special lounge in Hong Kong, which was nice. They had a gaming section which dad told me was a bunch of arcade cabinets you can use for free! It turned out to be a few PCs with ripoffs of actual games. I didn't look too far into it when I saw what they were.

After a lovely four weeks in New Zealand with everyone being polite, including a rebelious looking skateboarder who apologised for bumping into dad, we got to Heathrow (An absolute dump compared to other airports). We had to walk twenty minutes to get to passport control, which didn't take long to get through, then the baggage carousel kept stopping because it was small and filled with baggage from two international flights. Then we had to walk through a customs area with no-one attending it, and into a dank corridor with gaffer tape holding the floor and walls together, and some kind of builder's area blocked off.

We eventually found the coach that goes to our home town and sat on it for a while until the driver loudly exlaimed "I suppose I should get it warmed up..." He then drove very badly all the way.

And it's raining.

Yada yada yada... long story short, Britain sucks and I want to go back.

Ugh... I have to work on my Air Conditioning at home when I get home. At the very least, I need to clean the condensing coils. I also probably need to clear out the overflow pipe. I just love crawling around in the attic. Roll Eyes

Take a look see on weather.com 's radar and check out Chicago. Hurricane Gustav's remnants are passing through right now. Quite a big storm system.  Cheesy

It is at times like this when I with I had a nice camera. Undecided

Yeah, lots of rain now. It's supposed to keep raining till the begining of next week. So today I bought an umbrella at our school store (Woo! Cheaply made on-campus goods!), and then some rich asshole stole it from me during lunch.

The good part is that marching band rehearsal will be reduced to a bunch of... not marching, because with the rain we can't go out and march (damages the woodwind instruments).  YAY MUSIC REHEARSAL.

Saxophones kick ass, can't play but they make a good sound. Also, the alley near my house is completely flooded.
