Yeah, it's not a good time right now to be American. Our dependency on oil, coupled with the subprime collapse and housing collapse is going to cause a recession that will probably be the worst since the Great Depression.
How come you are only looking at the bad side of being an American?!

Hey i am still alive.
Had to quit the plumbing job and took a whopping 1$ pay cut to go back to the convienience store for a couple months.
Not that it matters because i have been getting an insane amount of hours.
My first week back i got 50 and in the last 2 weeks i got 55+ and 65+ so next paycheck should look pretty good.
I still don't have internet infact i don't know why i was able to steal a signal from a neighbor right now...
I don't have their password so i will accept it as a gift from the gods... while it lasts.
Baby boy is healthy and growing fast.
He has a "blood tumor" i don't remember what the medical wording for it was but the doc said it wouldn't do anything but ruin pictures for a couple months/years. The placement makes him look like a bruised klingon...

I got a text today asking me to go into work an hour early on Saturday for training. The only people who have training are team leaders. Ergo, I think I'm being promoted. It's another £1.50/hr for team leaders.
I think the only skill you need to be promoted is to have put up with it for so long. I won't have to wear the crappy purple uniform if I'm going to be team leader. They get to wear black tops.
But then, it might just be a general training thing for everyone.

The flooding around here is absolutely terrible. Guess that's what happens with saturated soil from snow melt coupled with 4-6 inches of rain.

Is the river flooding? Or is this just neighborhood flooding?

I hope my room doesn't flood with all the rain.
Oh and I got an 87 on one midterm, 61 and 65 on the others. School is beating my ass right now.

Uh, both. The Lost Bridge and Harrison Avenue Bridge are both closed. There was 3 feet of water over Lawrenceburg Road when I checked it around 7:30

I don't know why this guy decided to drop the password protection but i am loving the free internet.
I was in the middle of another post yesterday when it dropped out.
I guess thats the price to pay for freedom...
Fingers crossed on this lasting FOREVER!
