I'm pissed.  Today we were watching a video in science, and the teacher was trying to figure  out that you needed the extension on to use the dvd player.  she was some old-bitch sub.  the weather channel was on and they were playing some jazz shit, and some weird kid started dancing. I had my camera but my friends borrowing my memory card so I didn't get a video.

And another chapter is added to "Gannon in Wonderland"

Old Navy wants me to go in for orientation tomorrow, which means I pretty much got the job.

Now I can get out of poverty.

Congrats. I don't think Old Navy does overnight floor changes (unlike its family member, the Gap), so it should be a fun time.

There's a lot of fuss over a 5.3 earthquake last night.

THE APOCALYPSE IS COMING! THE APOCALYPSE IS COMING!

Here is an interesting fact - the strongest Earthquake to hit the lower 48 on record was not in California, but rather New Madrid, Missouri, with a magnitude of 8.0 or higher. If it occurred again, it is highly probable that the city of Memphis, Tennessee will see unparalleled destruction, possibly even total destruction as old buildings just are not built to seismic requirements. The other fun thing is that because the Midwest is flat, the seismic waves will propagate much farther than they do in California. An 8.0 earthquake would cause damage as far away as Cincinnati, Ohio, and could be felt in New York and Boston. Certainly, a rupture of the fault would cause significant damage.

The earthquake James linked to was in fact in the UK. My post was more of a fun aside.
