It doesn't bother me too much, but the nurse yanked the tape off and left a nasty mark on my arm.

My car failed its MOT pretty badly. Sad

There are two forms - one for complete failures and one for advisories, which should be fixed but won't fail the test.

It had 14 points which it failed on, and two advisories.  Undecided The main thing is the front seat belt mounting points are rusted, something I didn't notice when I went to look at the car. I've spoken to someone almost local from another forum who said they could do some welding for a lot less than the £470+ tax the garage quoted. But that depends on how serious they are about it. Parts are going to cost about £100.

The rest of it should hopefully be a simple replacement parts job.

wow that sucks, hopefully the welding guy you been talking to comes thru and you can get the job done alot cheaper then the garage wants to charge. also make sure the welding guy does quality work. good luck in getting the mini road ready.

@ James

Do you have any skill centers or trade schools around? I've had luck finding a high school skill center that'll do welding for free or really cheap. I bet you could find something similar.

Today, we were going down a street near my friends house in like the woods and it's completely flooded.  me and my friends were saying that if it keeps flooding this much for a long time, in 10 years from now alligators would come to WI.  How bad-ass would that be?

We had a little family "fishing derby" yesterday at a little farm pond and had an ambulance and fire trucks there within an hour.
