My first several posts are quite nonsensical. I was fairly new to this whole internets thing. Anyways, first post was:

I am Evan Leon.

My first post:

Hello my name is Ed and I'm from Indiana.  I've been around on other forums like AA and Mystery Manor for awhile.  New to this forum but loving every minute.  My favorite system probably would have to be the SNES.  I'm a big fan of rpgs and shooters and you cannot ask for a better system for em.

Wow, your the first person to post in the introduction thread first. Amazing.

Is it not good manners to introduce yourself first before you raid the fridge and sit on someone else's couch? Tongue

How close are you to a complete collection? June 08, 2004, 06:56:29 AM

the 2 I'm closest to completing are not impressive at all. the Pico and Game.com. they both suck and the libraries are small.

On a more impressive scale I'm within 100 for a complete Dreamcast collection and I need less than 40 to complete the Intellivision library.

wow! over 3 years later and I still have not completed the Pico or game.com.

yeah. at the time I needed 2 Pico games. I got one of them a few weeks ago. hell, I don't think I've found any Intellivision games since then either. I know I've added about 20 Dreamcast games though.

Well, if it is any consolation you still have about 500 more games than the next highest collector on RFG.

You might be a game collector if ....... (8/20/06)
"...you have so many games, you no longer have room to play them."

If only I knew then what I know now.  That was about 1,000 games ago Grin

My first post is embarrassing.

lalalala, first thread! *does the happy dance*

I can't imagine it was the first thread on the forum, so it probably was the first thread in the staff forum.

About a 100 posts are missing though. I guess they were in one of the several silly forums only Nep and I could visit, or the filthy forum Antimind made.

we didn't really need a filthy forum. it's better to spread the filth around.

Gaming / Video Game Generation / Re: ten-year lifecycles on: July 05, 2004, 01:36:14 AM

i dont think that the consoles will go in 10 year intervals because it is far to long a time for the progression of technology. i think 5 years  would be a sufficient amount of time to get together enough new technology to improve graphics, hd size, loading times, etc. also in 10 years time if a home systems would barely be able to hold up against pc's at all

In the subsequent 48 hours i had 79+ more posts.
The 3rd one was in the intro thread.

Stopped at Pawn America after work yesterday and picked up a loost Shining Force cart for like $6. It's the second one I have found at this PA (the first one was boxed with no manual, but in really poor condition).

I gotta say, I have been out of the collecting loop for about a year, but there's something about a nice find that makes you want to get out there and see what you can find. Consider me back in the game.

My first post. It came about 3 years after I had originally signed up on the site. No idea what took me so long, but it doesn't really matter now. I've really enjoyed my time here so far, and look forward to more forum-posting goodness!

Ahhh, those first heady days of RFG.  Wow, did I really only have 700 games at that point?  It seems like I've been over 1000 forever.

I can still remember my first post in the RFG universe back on the old Video Game Bible site.  I think it was bragging about buying a Jaguar and 7 or 8 games on Ebay for like $60.  Shit, that must have been 5 years ago at least.
