Anyhoo... I'm getting 2 sega genesises, 3 controllers, arcade stick, all hook ups, and 12-15 games for 50 bucks after school today. You bet i'll post pictures! One of the gennys is a gen 3, and the other is either a 1 or 2. I think I got a good deal. Smiley

I've been a Nintendo fan for age's, but have shifted to the sega camp.  Sega holds more appeal to me for collecting and lately playing.  I get excited when I walk into a thrift and see a few boxed genny game's sitting there.  No other system's game aside from a TG-16 game give's me that thrill of finding something great.  Sounds like your getting a good deal on that haul btw.

Well, i decided not to post pictures because, well, the kid wasn't totally honest.

Lies:
1. He said w/cables. 1 rf and 6 controllers, but NO POWER does not constitute with cables
2. he said 12-15 games, he could only find 6
3. Said the games were in ok condition, 2 are in quite good, 1 ok, 1 fair, 1 water damage, and 1 horrible (MKII)

I should have payed about 30-40, not 50

Games:

Sonic 1 (NotForResale Edition)
Sonic 2 (Original)
Vectorman (very good condition)
Columns (water damage)
Some football game (good cond.)
And Mortal Kombat II (Half of the label is Missing!)

What ever...

You're gonna be best friends with Scott soon! Tongue

I have to admit though that I also find Sega games to be pretty appealing...they're just generally in better CIB condition because of the clamshell cases, and there's most definitely some good games for the Genesis!

Genesis -> $12
w/1 rf and 6 controllers (NO PS) -> $15-20
Sonic 1 (NotForResale Edition) -> $1
Sonic 2 (Original) -> $2
Vectorman (very good condition) -> $2
Columns (water damage) -> $1
Some football game (good cond.) -> $0.50
And Mortal Kombat II (Half of the label is Missing!) -> Free!

12 (system) + 15 (parts) + 6.50 (games) = $33.50
If you can talk him into $30 or less then it's not bad.
