Little Mac is already an assist trophy, and Ape and Master Chief have never been in a Nintendo game, and are automatically disqualified.

Hitler was the final boss in Bionic Commando (famicom version only), so he is a viable candidate.  They did accept Demon from Demon World as an assist trophy.

Cloud shouldn't, but could be as he was a boss in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.  They already have a bunch of RPG characters in there already from Fire Emblem and Breath of Fire.  Equally, Mega Man or Simon could also potentially be candidates, pending licensing and approval by Capcom or Konami.

Mega Man or Bomberman would be awesome!

I voted Mega Man. That would be nifty. However, I still think Crash Bandicoot should be added so we could have a mid-90s console mascot battle royale between Mario (representing Nintendo), Sonic (representing Sega), and Crash Bandicoot (representing Sony).

Ok, this is supposed to be something fun not to analyze everything.  Of course we know that the Ape or Master Chief would never be in SSBB.  The question is asked to see what character you would most like to be in Brawl if any character could be in there.
