It's "VS Week" here at RF Generation, saluting one the most unbelievable crossover series to date.  Capcom vs SNK features mainly characters from the Capcom's Street Fighter, and SNK's King of Fighters series.  This, in my opinion is 2D fighting at its best.  A "Pro" version was released for the Playstation, and while the unlockables are easier to achieve, the graphical quality is severely diminished.  If you like 2D fighting, then you'll probably love this game, if you haven't played 2D fighters before, it may or may not be for you.

Other exciting news this week is the announcement that Capcom is indeed working on Street Fighter 4!  With all the rehashes and spinoffs of the past two games, this will certainly be a fresh addition to the Street Fighter legacy.

Hopefully, Street Fighter 4 will finally make the jump to 3D.

At least it isn't another remake of SFII, I dunno if the title could structurally support another addendum.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is long enough already.  Let us hope there isn't a Tournament Edition.

Super Street Fighter IV 2010 New Challengers Grand Master EX Special Turbo Hyper Fighting Championship Alpha Zero Tournament HD Remix 3rd Impact 4th Strike World Warrior Edition Anniversary Revival

The Movie

The game based on the movie based on the game.

Maybe Capcom will make it a PS3 exclusive so it'll skip 3D and go right to 4D. slick

Just out of curiosity, why is the game titled Marvel vs Capcom in your post? I noticed it as soon as you posted it but figured there was a method to your madness. Tongue

Wow, I spaced out when I wrote that.  Either way, MvC is yet another sweet 2D fighter for the Dreamcast.  Actually, all of them are good.

great game.

about those wanting a 3d street fighter, just say NO. have you played the street fighter EX games? SNK is the only company i've seen thats been able to transfer 2d to 3d damn near flawlessly (Kof: maximum impact, kof 2006)
