Picked this up today:

As you can see, the manual and cart are the standard ZAMN items, but the box is different. I assume that this was just a version that was released later in the print run for this game, but I don't know for sure. I did a quick Google search and didn't find anything.

Can anyone help me out? Just want to know when/why it was released, and if it is significantly harder to find that the regular version.

Check the back of your box vs. the back of this one. (UPC for example: 083717150114)

Also check the part number listed on the back of your box versus the part numbers on your manual and cart.(The box may have additional -1 or something similair at the en of the number)
It might be you have a unique box art and normal cart/manual.

Cool find Smiley
Loved that game growing up.

Compared my new one to my standard version and everything is the same. Bizzare.

Maybe it is a factory direct. Notice how it says "Sold by Konami".

I noticed that while I was looking it over in my car. Didn't even think about the factory direct angle.

I'm assuming that it's at least a little difficult to come by. There wasn't another one in the 'completed listing' items on eBay.

The Pawn America that I stopped at had a number of nice CIB SNES games that must have been new, but most were too expensive for me. This one and the Super Ghouls N Ghosts (SNES) I picked up were marked $15. I originally told him that I didn't want to spend so much on these, and he admitted that they were overpriced and game them to me for $10 each. There was also a CIB Shadowrun for Genesis for $10, but it was really yellowed and the case/insert were damaged. Perhaps I will go back tomorrow and take a closer look at what they had. I have something to return anyway.

I loved this game. I lost my copy for the SNES, as well as my Donkey Kong Country 3. I think they got stolen, but I am not sure.

I like the box art more than the original. Nice find.
