^ I'm open to anything. I just got a PS2 and I've been trying out the games that I missed out on by only owning an Xbox.

* Also after all of the years the PS and PS2 have been out I'm finally getting used to the controller.  Smiley
Alright.

Here's some great PS2 exclusives that are more commonly known...
God of War 1 and 2
Twisted Metal Black
Gran Turismo 3 and 4
Jak and Daxter
Ratchet and Clank
Sly Cooper

Katamari Damacy (Now on 360 also)
Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3
Hot Shots Golf 3 and Fore!

Now some that are sometimes overlooked...
Amplitude/Frequency
Downhill Domination
Gitaroo Man (Also on PSP)
God Hand (AMAZING!!!! Just insane beat-em-up action)
Ico
Kinetica
Mark of Kri/Rise of the Kasai
Oni (Also on PC and Mac)
Okami
Primal
Rez (On Dreamcast as well, but only in Japan and Europe)
Trapt (I can't believe this game is so underlooked)
Shadow of the Colossus
Klonoa 2
Maximo

Now, multiplatform games you may not heard of...
Aggressive Inline (One of the most overlooked and underrated games of last gen. Yes it's a sports game, but it's really good)
Indigo Prophecy (Best example of a cinematic game)
Psi Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy
Psychonauts
Killer 7
Beyond Good and Evil

I've bolded the best of the bunch...

I'll second ICO... awesome game.

I believe it was multi platform but Burnout 3: Takedown is a blast. Best of the series I think.

I concur here aswell.

(Scrolling thru my PS2 games to find things that haven't been mentioned)

GunGrave Overdose was a  fun run and gun blow everything up shooter1

Stunt Man was pretty cool and self explanitory. I should not all stuns are done in vehicles.

Yeah, I might have to give that a second chance as well.  I played it for about 20 minutes and just couldn't get into it.  It does have a pretty cool premise...

It's one of the best "sleeper hits" on the PS2.

You know what game I totally forgot to mention, but should be on the list? War of the Monsters. That game was brilliant, and one of the greatest fighting games ever created. Too bad that game gets overlooked so much. Incognito deserved better with that game.

GTA
Katamari Damacy (pronounced DA-MA-SHI)
Lumines
We Love Katamari (more of the same)
Shadow of Colossus

Fighters:
Soul Calibur III

Free-roaming 3D beat-em-up:
Devil May Cry (also, 2 & 3)
God Hand

J-RPGs
Suikoden III, IV, V
.//Hack (dot-hack)
Final Fantasy X, XII
Kingdom Hearts I & 2
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time

Music:
DDR Extreme 1&2
DDR Max 1&2
Beatmania (its okay, not as good as the Japanese ones)

Shooters:
Gradius V
Raiden III
Silpheed: The Lost Planet

ALSO, look for any of SNK's recent compilations, they've been putting out a lot of good ones in the past year.  Art of Fighting Anthology, Metal Slug Anthology, and Fatal Fury Battle Archives v1.

Let me name some games that i'm surprised haven't been mentioned already:

Ace Combat 4
Ace Combat 5
Ace Combat Zero
Castlevania: Lament of Innocence  <-- - As good as SotN IMO
Front Mission 4  <-- Mechassault meets Final Fantasy Tactics
Grandia III
Gungriffon Blaze
MDK 2 Armageddon
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2  <-- better than the Xbox/PC/GCN version
Rogue Galaxy  <-- think KOTOR with mixed real time/turn based gameplay
Shining Force Neo
Star Trek Voyager Elite Force
Time Crisis II [Guncon 2 Bundle]
WRC: World Rally Championship
Ys: The Ark of Napishtim  <-- feels like an older 16 bit adventure, very refreshing

I'll try to name stuff that hasn't already been listed:

Disgaea 1 & 2
All the Final Fantasys from PS1 era (VII, VIII, IX, Anthology and Chronicles if you can find them)
Guitar Hero 1-3
Odin Sphere
The following Resident Evil Tiles: 1, 2, 3, Code Veronica X, 4.
Silent Hill 1-4
SSX Tricky
Tekken 4 & 5 (I'd list the rest but Tekken 5 has 1-3 bundled in the game. You can skip Tag Tournament)
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
Tomb Raider: Legend & Anniversary
Way Of The Samurai 1 & 2 (Extremely underrated games)
Zone Of The Enders 1 & 2
