I've just come across a demo for MLB 2002 for the PS at a Goodwill and I'm trying to submit it for approval into the database.  I've searched for it and don't see it, but when I try to submit it for approval, I get the message that the game is already in the database.  I'm selecting "Demo" from the drop-down menu, but I must be doing something else wrong.  Anyone with any ideas?  Huh

Ther issue could very well be that the MLB 2002 in the database has no genre listed for it.

try this:
submit the info for the original entry when you get a chance

A staff member needs to PM the 4 people who own it, tell them that it is being changed to the listing for the full game and that if they have the demo it is listed under(link).

then submit the info for your demo.

It means that there is an existing entry that has the exact same Title, Console, and Region. Games must have a unique combination of those fields.

Yep, it needs to be submitted as a variation for MLB 2002.

Recently we've begun to segregate demos from full releases as well. When you submit a demo make sure to add "Demo" to the variation title and choose demo as the genre. That way it's easier to distinguish between the two during searches and maintains the proper title. Wink
