RF Generation has a global community that grows daily with members from all over the world. It's staff comprise members from several countries as well.
As such, we like to represent gaming in all it's forms and would like to expand our front page to include news from all over the net. One of the ways we accomplish this is by choosing worthy blog entries made by members and posting them on the front page to share with the community at large.
If your interested in starting a RFGen blog here's the link:
http://www.rfgeneration.c...HP/blog.php?action=myblogFor those of you who have never blogged, it's basically a journal where you can write about whatever you want, and add pics, links and make the post length as long or short as you want. Sometimes you want to expand an experience you wrote about in the forum. Or write a story about a particular find that you want to share, or pretty much anything on any topic that comes to mind.
Well the RFGen blogs (that are available to anyone) are just suited for that purpose. We don't have the time or resources to search the internet and read every gaming news story out there. So we'd like you, the members to help us in this.
Got a top list? A favorite game? Interested in Importing or homebrew development? we'd love to read about it! Have a thought piece on the gaming industry or a company or ideas for both? A short story that you trimmed down for the forum's sake? A high score you feel needs attention?
Then feel free to start a blog and write about it. There's no obligation, no commitment on your part. Gaming blogs are fast becoming the way of the future with sites like Kotaku, Joystiq, Engadget, Destructoid, Major Nelson etc etc. Help RFGen grow and develop our own unique Classic and Modern Gaming front page by blogging!! Once in a while you may find your post makes front page news of RFGen, what a better way to add a feather to your cap to complement submission credits and help this great site and community we all love so much grow.
Thank you
