I vote past. I'm one of those, "if I knew then, what I know now" kind of people.

How do we know we aren't living in the alternate present of a past changed by someone from the future? We wouldn't know of anything else. You don't wake up in the morning thinking "I'm sure the world blew up yesterday". Wait... it's called a hangover.

I want to go to the past, something I know better than I do the future. Except the past was kind of sucky. The future would be cool to see but could also be terrifying if you find out about some things.

If you go a few hundred years back you could woo the wimmin with your funky clothes and knowledge of computers. Tongue

What computers?  You mean machines that can think.  They must be the works of the Devil.  Burn the witch!

Hence I picked the past!!! I've often wondered what would have happened if I would have made a different decision in the past and what the outcome would have been.

I would choose the past over the future. It would be interesting to see what would happen if I did things differently. Although if I were to go back in time and do things differently some of the best things in my life like meeting my wife may never have happend.

I'll leave time travel to Michael J. Fox

I watched a documentary once on time travel. Some guy (maybe Stephen Hawking, I forget) thinks that as soon as we invent a portal (using wormholes) to the future, people from the future will start coming out of it. He also believes time travel to the past will be impossible because there has to be a portal at the periods of time you are traveling to and from. Doesn't matter, I still voted for the past. I'd love to see a neanderthal's face when I show him a camera, flashlight, etc.
