The question is simple, how the hell do you do it?  I got a Videum video capture card and it works great if I'm using it with a DVD player.  I take screenshots and video clips quickly and easily.  But when I try to do the same with my video game systems, I get nothing.  So far, the best luck I had was with a PSone, the Sony logo came on and it worked perfect until the game started to load, and it quit working.  I also tried to use an N64 which absolutely nothing useful and an NES which would give me a screen if I jiggled the plug just right, but it never gave me any video.

So, someone please tell me how to get it to take screenshots from my systems.

With mine I can just plug the console right into my computer and the program that it came with has a button that I can click that just takes one.

Success! I got it to work for a Dreamcast, haven't tried any other systems yet, I don't want to unplug it and not have it work anymore.  But anyway, I took a bunch of screenshots for some DC games, and now I have a new problem.  The card is in my old computer which doesn't have an internet connection. So now I need a way to put them on my laptop.  I tried using a jump drive, but the computer won't recognize it.  So, anyone know a way to transfer them?  Hopefully something that won't involve some expensive cord.

Burn to CD? Get the drivers for the jump drive.
