I've Re-invented Tipping.

I need everybody on board with the new process I invented. You have to try this.

I have re-invented the way we tip waiters and waitresses.

Essentially, instead of leaving a tip when you pay the bill, you tip the waitress like you tip a stripper. Whenever she does something, you give her some money.

If she's doing things you like, you give her more. If she's doing things you don't like, you give her less.

At the end of the day, the whole total should come out to the traditional 15% or 20%. Unless she sucks, and then she gets nothing.

This method introduces a logical system to tipping. Both parties understand exactly what is at stake through the entire service experience. You can send a message to a shitty waitress. Waitresses can ignore low tipping patrons in favor of ones that tip better. There is a whole set of mechanics here that just isn't included in the current cut and run procedure.
