i wanted to add some extra information to a few games listing but i can't as it says they have to be in HTML, why?

I don't know HTML and really am a bit too thick to learn it, why do the submissions have to be in this format can the system not handle normal text or is it just easier for the admin to put it in to the submission?

I assume that's why. I submitted some information this evening and noticed the HTML bit. Scott ended up adding some code for me.

This is a good site for HTML:

I don't know the ins and outs of the database but it would be easier if it had some kind of forum post editor style UI. HTML might put some people off submitting information.

I don't know HTML either, but check out this free WYSIWYG editor.

If you're looking to do bulleted lists, this works just like Word does. You just click the button for lists and type in your text. Then you can copy the source code and paste in the area you want. I just started using it so i'm no expert, but making the list was real easy.
