I got to play it at my friend's house the other night. Great fun, I liked how the drums kinda took me out of my comfort zone. I find that the guitar parts are a lot easier than GH, especally on Expert. Singing is fun, I sang on Yeah Yeah Yeah's "Maps" (my favorite song of the bunch) and Coheed And Cambria's "Welcome Home".

yeah but we kicked ass on Weezer.

Definitely. That was one of the few songs we 5-starred.

The guitar definitely seemed easier on Hard when compared to GH2 and 3. The drums are very tough at the start, perhaps it's just that element of taking you out of your comfort zone like you mentioned; the pedal seems to be what makes it the most challenging.

My 8 eight year old daughter is getting pretty good at the drums. I also must confess it was a proud papa moment when she sang Black Sabbaths "Paranoid".

Rock Band kicks ass. My wife got it for me for Christmas. I haven't tried the solo mode yet but play with people in a "band" is a lot of fun. Kari sings, Rick plays bass/guitar and I play the drums.

I downloaded the Metallica and Black Sabbath three song backs. I also got Fortunate Son by CCR.

Tomorrow's songs (per Wikipedia):

"Action" by The Sweet
"Last Train to Clarksville" by the Monkees
"All the Small Things" by Blink-182.

160 MS points ($1.99) each.

As I've mentioned no less than 46 times today, I finally got this over the weekend.  I had my little sister and her boyfriend over to my house on Tuesday and us and my fiance played 3 player for a bit.  I don't like how picky the vocal tracks are, but other than that it's awesome.

It was damn fun trying to sing Iron Maiden  laugh

I'm stuck on Drum Solo Tour - Medium. I'm having trouble with "Green Grass & High Tides" from the main tour and on "Day Late, Dollar Short" from the indy track set. Tongue

I finished the guitar solo tour on hard. pretty easy compared to GH but my goal was to unlock everything for band quickplay. I had some friends over Saturday night and we played from 6:00 till about 1:00 am. what a blast! some of the girls who sang were actually pretty good. the guys? well......

Anybody planning on downloading the first Rock Band album release, Judas Priest's "Screaming for Vengeance"?
