EB/Gamestop is having a big sale until this Sunday, 6/10/07.

Buy any 2 used games or accessories, get 1 free. And you can mix and match.

I got the following:

2 wireless Xbox 360 controllers
Viva Pinata (360, Limited Edition), CIB
Black (Xbox), CIB
Lego Star Wars II: The original trilogy (Xbox), CIB,
Ninja Gaiden: Black (XBOX), CIB.

After using my 10% off Edge card, the total came to $110.62.

I thought that overall that it was a pretty good deal. Especially since all the games are CIB and it's starting to get harder to find used last-gen games that are CIB.

I just drove past my Gamestop and I saw those signs. I doubt I will get anything because I really don't need any more games. Plus, I hate EB/Gamestop. I shop at Best Buy because I like their return policy and their reward zone program.

BTW, nice pickups. Pretty good price.

I saw the deal as well, but couldn't find much in the way of good deals. If I had some more financial flexibility I would probably pick up a few new Wii games or something but I just don't have the money for that right now.

The strange thing about the LE Viva Pinata is that originally it was nearly impossible to find the nonLE version.

At least anywhere within 30+ miles of my house...

Thanks.

Yeah. It's a better deal if you're buying a bunch of stuff at once. There may be some deals to still be had in the discount bins, though...

Initially, that's true here as well. But I think that's because it didn't sell well at the start so the LE copies are still pretty readily available. Since the LE versions are out of print, we'll probably start seeing the regular version only more often.

Here's my haul from the sale:

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (PS2)
Sly Cooper (PS2)
Sly 2 (PS2)
Oni (PS2)
Primal (PS2)
Viewtiful Joe (Gamecube)

All for $35! Not bad at all.
