I'm already sick of the blurry images my nintendo64 gives. Since it won't accept my gamecube RGB Cable (FUCK YOU NINTENDO! FUCK YOU IN THE ASS!!!) I'd have to go with the second best option; s-video.
Seeing how the graphics are blurry, no matter what kind of cable I stick in, I was wondering if the change (from rca) is worth it.

It really depends on how good your TV is to determine if it is worth it.  For instance, right now I am just playing through a cheap 20" so it doesn't mamke that much of a differance.  However, if you are playing through a better TV, I definatley reccomend it.  It makes everything SOOOOO much clearer.

Well, yes, that's pretty obvious.

Just ignore this. It was all wrong.

I could stand to have my Wii serviced right about now.

That doesn't make sense at all. Since a normal tv can't get to a resolution that high.
Although you might be right it has some sort of difference in resolution, since the expansion pack never really made games prettier for me with the rca cable.

Never mind that. It was wrong, wrong, totally wrong. I confused the whole mess with something somebody told me about the Dreamcast. S-video will get you a crisper picture, because it separates the color shades of the pixels more efficiently than the RCA jacks you are using. It will still be blurry because of the N64's anti-aliasing, it just won't be AS blurry.

P.S. S-Video does support higher resolutions with some equipment, but I'm not really sure I understand the whole mess, and I don't really think it applies to your problem anyway.

That's what I wanted to know, thanks.

I got an s-video cable today, and it  seems to improve the image a bit. It still looks like it's coming from a 10 year old vcr, but now at least some objects have half sharp edges.

I also got a new stick for my controller and played some beetle adventure racing. Not a particularly good game, but entertaining nonetheless.
