No Linux, Unix or OSX?

I use both Windows XP and OSX at the moment.

XP.  Nothing special.  Though I do run it with the Win 98 look to it... can't stand that friggin' green "Start" button.

Ubuntu Linux mainly, though I am in Vista right now for a few apps that don't work in Linux. Doing some cleanup of audio with Sony Sound Forge...and playing Myst.

Vista doesn't exactly SUCK, but it's very flawed. MS rushed it out the door far too early. It's still got a lot of bugs to work out. Mainly long start up times and slowdowns.

This is the first time I've booted into Vista in over a week.

I was going to make a post about how XP has always been generally reliable for me. But then I tried to burn a DVD+RW and remembered it has problems. I can burn a CD fine but for some reason Windows won't recognise my drive as DVD+-RW. I've spent all evening trying to burn one DVD but can't even get to the point of starting a burn. It just doesn't see an available write drive if there's a DVD in it. The drive was fine on my old PC.

Anyway, I'm happy enough with XP because I'm familiar with it. I've been using it for the last five years or so.

Edit: Found another programme that looks like it was made in Visual Basic but does the job fine.
