Sure, there are 23 other games in there, but honestly, who gives a shit? It's the freakin' 1990 WC gold cart!!!

I feel sorry for the guy who selled it since his son died while fighting in Iraq, but hopefully this helps him out quite a bit. What I want to know is if his son actually won it back in the day, or if he bought it.

In the auction he originally asked for 24 dollars for the whole lot, 1 dollar per game.  I'll bet he was surprised.  I hope the high bidder explained why it went for so much.

Just imagine if the seller had a garage sale and sold that stuff instead.  That would be so awesome to pick up NWC for a buck.

NWC for $1 would be the find of the century.

I am with a lot of big time NES collectors thinking that is a fake auction well at least a fake bid.

One of the winning bidder's feedback says something about a silver PS3. Huh?

Really? You think it's fake? What makes you say that?

Over priced for even that cart. The seller very well could have the cart but the bidder isn't going to pay.

There actually was a NWC Gold found for $2 maybe 10 years ago. The funny part was the guy who found it left the price sticker on it just for postarity.

If it really gets picked up that would make it the most expensive game ever purchased if memory serves.

The other one was some Euro game that sold for like 1600 euro a few years back.
T&T had info on it.

I am not sure if it is a rumor or not but a European Neo Geo game sold for 11k-13k.

If soemone has back issues of T&T and feels like hunting they can find the artice :-P

I would have searched for myself already but i don't have mine with me :-/

I believe it was some sort of private auction.
