I saw this last night. The first movie, Planet Terror, is awesome. The second movie, Death Proof, is terrible. SFS walked out on it, and a few of my friends who saw it earlier in the afternoon did the same.

I hear that there are plans to split up the two movies in Grindhouse and release them on their own in theaters due to how poorly the double feature did over the weekend.

I heard the same thing today. I really think that Death Proof could fare a lot better if deleted scenes were added, and especially if something could be done to break up the monotonous dialogue.

I saw it opening night. You can't walk out on Death Proof. No, absolutely not damnit. The ending scene could be the greatest thing in a movie. Also, outstanding movie. I feel bad if you missed the ending of Death Proof seeing as how that scene was better than anything in Planet Terror. Funny as hell too.

I don't think it was the best part of the movie, but it was definately worth sticking around for.

I'm one of the few who think Death Proof actually rivals Planet Terror...

Leon, next time you're over the house I'm probably going to kick you in the nuts. Kurt Russel in the final scene was one of the most entertaining things I have ever witnessed. And you know what I mean I hope.

That being said I may see Grindhouse again tommorow. Oh and Leon I need to kick your ass in Capcom Vs. SNK sometime soon. It's been far too long and I grow weary.

I will have an abortion on your face at anything capcom related.

Also, the final scene in Death Proof was a waste. It was just a car chase. I hate car chases.
