I can honestly say I've never intentionally watched any of these shows but they are so prevalent these days it's nearly impossible to not know what's going on in all of them without even trying. I'm very well informed on the goings on of Survivor, the Intern or the Bachelor and the like just by overhearing office talk, family conversations, listening to the radio or reading the newspaper or magazines.

I guess the new trend is getting millionaires to host shows. First Donald Trump and now Mark Cuban (owner of the Dallas Mavericks). The Benefactor was on before Monday Night Football and they were actually eliminating a contestant by playing Jenga. WTF? And now I've seen an add for a new show with that dude from Virgin, Richard Branson. Who's next Ted Turner?

blech, enough already.

It;s getting to the point that everything that is on nowadays is either a cop drama or a reality show.  That's probably why I have been watching the Cartoon Network lately.

That's exactly what I do 99% of the year.  Come football season, though, I watch the games, and end up being reminded (during the commercials) why I NEVER turn on the TV the rest of the year.  Like Sauza said, it all seems to be cop dramas and "reality" shows.  BLECH.

Speaking of commercials, I did see one during a game this past weekend that I liked.  Geico had one with a couple that walks into a house with ceilings that are about four feet high.  The commercial is a giant parody of reality TV these days - the people have to stay there for a year, and they show lots of drama in the commercial.  The "show" is entitled "SMALL HOUSE."  It's even topped off by the overly-dramatic, testosterone-filled VOICE, giving us the play-by-play.  It ends with something like "It'll save you money...  blah blah.... car insurance.."  I laughed hysterically.  Then a Survivor commercial came on and I cried.

MTV, CBS, it doesn't matter. Just as long as I can set something of fire.

TV isn't too bad, you just have to know what and when too watch.  Most shows after 11:00 on the Cartoon Network are worth watching.  Sci-Fi Channel is cool too.

OK, now that I think about it, maybe TV does suck.  Sad

The only things I watch on TV are Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, The Simpsons, and the News.
