Okay, so I was really baked.. and this kid who always calls me telling me random stupid/cool/funny stuff. calls me up..

he tells me to go to google maps and type in 'Chicago to London' in the search bar. So I do it, and i'm like "Okay" and he says go down to step 20, and tell me that's not the most rediculous thing in the world.

Fucking priceless.

I figured it had to say something odd (I mean, you're only going across and entire ocean). Wasn't expecting THAT, though.

Hysterical.

That's hilarious. I wonder how long they estimate that to take.

That's hilarious. I wonder how long they estimate that to take.

29 days 1 hour.
Which means they estimate a person can swim non-stop at 4.967 mph.  ((3462 / (29*24 +1)) mph)

Using the world record time in the 200m freestyle (1:43.86s), I came up with the number 4.3242534 mph as just about as fast as anyone can go in water.  The two matched pretty closely, so I'm guessing that Google just used the 50m world record time.

Close as I could get it:

I saw the estimation of how long the whole trip takes, but I mean how long the swimming portion takes.

That you looked up the world records in swimming and did the math to figure out the time.
