It was a game for the Sega Saturn called Nights into Dreams.

It came packaged with what I think was the first controller to feature an analog stick. I could be wrong. I don't know much about the actual game play but it's got a bit of a cult following.

Rumours of sequels have been around since the Dreamcast. Nothing yet. The character has popped up in other games. Sonic Pinball Party on the GBA and I think in the Eyetoy game Sega All-Stars.

Panzer Dragoon got a sequel on the Xbox though it had 3 games for the Saturn. If ther was a Nights sequel I'd get it.

Considering what Yuji Naka said a couple of days ago about having no intentions of making one I'd say no. That or they'll make one without him, which I'd think would defeat the purpose.

I'm torn.  I voted a sequel won't be made after what Naka has said.  I don't know if a sequel should be made.  A sequel might taint the "series".

I played this game once and didn't think it was as amazing as everyone says it is. Maybe if I know what the hell I was supposed to do that might change my impression.  Undecided

It's confirmed.  They are making a sequel to NiGHTS into Dreams for Wii.
