I stopped by a ratty, ratty thrift store on my way home from work today, and found something for which I've been searching forever now. A Sega CD - more precisely, a JVC X'EYE for $9.50

As always seems to be the case whenever I make a cool find, I almost didn't stop at this place to look around at all, but something compelled me to throw on the brakes and swerve in. When I got there, they had the same usual bunch of dusty NES and Genesis carts, and on my way out I noticed "Power Rangers" for Sega CD over in the TUB-O-VHS. I thought I had better go look on the electronic junk heap to see if theres anything that might have been donated along with this game, and behold:

Now I can finally play all these Sega CD games I've been finding in the wild and collecting over the last year or so. Now I don't feel so dumb for buying games for systems I don't have.

holy crap dude! that is a monster score. I applaud you.

and it's never dumb to buy games for systems you don't have. you never know when you'll score that elusive system (heh, you just found out)

besides now you don't have to scramble around to find a Sega CD game. you've got a huge pile of em' to try out.

again... NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends on the game. Anyway, they're nice little time capsules. This whole system has early-mid 90's all over it - from the title screen to the games it plays.

Congrats!!!  I agree with Den, it's never an issue picking up games for a system you don't have.  I have lots of orphans that will someday have a system to play them on!!

I have some 3do and CDi games that I don't have a systems for. I had almost the entire 7800 library but I didnt have a systems till months later. I had some 5200 games before i got the system. Hell I had Xbox 360 games before I got the system.
