My friend has it and he's told me that Link is left handed in the GC version, and that the controls are more or less like Wind Waker. It's the same game, but with no gestures or pointer style aiming.
Not only is Link properly left handed, but the entire world is (not) mirrored in the GC version. Since the map of Hyrule was kinda modeled after the one from Ocarina of Time, the Wii Zelda map might seem a bit backwards to those who have played the old game. The purists might wanna play the GameCube version of the game, but the hardcore will probably do both of them. Otherwise, the graphics are hardly better on the Wii version, as the game was originally developed for the GameCube. The wiggle 'n' shake controlls were just tacked on. I can't wait for a real Wii Zelda game to come out in the future.
As I recall, I remember that Nintendo was considering doing an update for Twilight Princess sometime before the end of 2007. It would be delivered via WiiConnect24. It sounded like an extra level or mission or something. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
