Check instruction manuals.
If the system manual and the game manuals have conflicting system titles your screwed and it is either or Smiley

It was always my understanding it was "Turbo Grafx". I imagine the system uses one word because it flows better aesthetically, a name not to be mistaken with a feature i.e. a TurboGrafx game console not a NEC machine with Turbo Grafx.

The Wii virtual console lists them as the NEC TurboGrafx, though sometimes its also listed as TurboGrafx16 or TurboGrafx-16.  Thats my two cents.  I wanted one for some time now, but at 100 bucks plus 15+ per game, I'ld assume getting caught up on newer stuff first.

i'd probably go with whatever it says on the actual system, since the system itself should know what it's called....
