Greetings,

Anyone else been to this place. I was there on Saturday and there is a vendor in there that really made me mad.

At first when i see her display i was excited to see so many different titles and other items. I started looking around and noticed some of the prices. I had figured they would be a little extreme.

I waited for about 15 minutes before she finally made it back from whatever she was doing. I asked what the prices were on her nes games. She told me they vary. Ok so i started flipping through what she had and asked a price on a few.

How much for the Archon title? She looks at back, $25 she says... Huh ok, I inquire about a couple more and the prices were insanely high. I had asked about maybe 5 titles, and she then says, you buy from me, how much do you sell on ebay. I explained to her these were for my collection. Oh right she says. How much you sell on ebay? Hmmm, i think its time to move on i think to myself. As i am leaving i inquire about the price on her Mega Man 5. Oh, too much for you mister collector. Its over $5 too much for you. Move along she says. I say pardon, how much? Oh way to much for a collector like you. All my games too much. At this time i was getting frustrated, why is she acting like this. I just start walking away. I can hear her calling after me saying, I do very good business, i sell all games all the time. Don't need your collector.

Im laughing. About a half hour later i stroll by just to see how she is doing, how busy she is. I decide to ask a few more prices. I inquire about a turbo Grafx Machine she has on a shelf. $85 she says, i ask if she has the controllers or the plugs, and she says oh no, with controller and plugs it is $135. Oh boy

Well, thanks for listening to my rant. And if anyone else has had the pleasure of dealing with this lady. Please do share. Maybe i just got her on a bad day, or i was expecting too much.

Regards,

Adam

What a bitch. Next time go get her to say you can't afford anything then pull out a huge wad of cash and say I guess you are right and walk off.

Could always try the same aproach she's taking.

Tell her what I told the last asshat I came across.

You have stuff I want, I have money you want, what I do with the stuff once I buy it is my own damn buisness as is what you do with my money once you get it.  If your here to sell stuff then let's do buisness.  If your here to make coments about what I do on my own damn time then good luck wasting your time and your money setting up a both at a flea market.  I can buy from any of these little tables here and not put up with this shit, I picked you, that should atleast mean something to you.  Stop with the crappy attitude and try to make some money off me.

FYI, I didnt buy anything at their table because at that point I was tired of their prices and off handed coments.  No one in their right mind charges $50 for a CIB Madden 94 on the SNES.  No one.

Unreal. What a moron. I'd be willing to bet her "frustrated" comments stem from just about everyone's reactions to her ridiculous prices. You'd think the logic of the situation would occur to her: everybody thinks the prices are too high and won't buy anything......therefore they ARE overpriced! Obviously a real mental giant.  Roll Eyes
