I'm surprised no one has mentioned DOS games, or just the PC in general.

Has to be the game.com. I picked up a game.com and half of the games for it sealed for $40.
If you take your time and find good deals, you could get a complete set for under $100.

I was waiting to see Game.Com or R-Zone.
Game.com is always on eBay and when R-Zone does go up it is generally a ton of titles at once.
ActionMax is an easy one. I was debating on getting them off eBay but now the titles have seemed to dry up.

Well all I know is that ever since I got my 7800 up and running again those darn Froggo games became impossible to find. It seems like a year or two ago you could get them for under 40 dollars. What is the world coming to?

Well I'm damn near close to having all the Sega Pico U.S games complete. LOL there is only 20 titles. But the kid loves them. Gosh I really need that Sonic one, that seems to be the hardest to find complete.

The North American Neo Geo Pocket Color set doesn't seem to have many rare games in the small handfull that was released, but I suppose finding them complete in their cardboard boxes would be death.

You're my hero. Vanilla Ice RULES! I can't believe that there is another
SERIOUS
Vanilla Ice fan on this site. The special edition DVD should be called "Cool As Ice: Drop That Zero Edition".

Nope, nobody mentioned it yet.
I sorta second it. After the cost of the player, the rest isn't too bad. 4 Nuon-enhanced DVDs, 3 sampler/demos, and 8 titles... albeit ones released under strange conditions. One was recalled, one was korean only, two only came with a certain models of dvd players, and of course VM labs went bankrupt...
My personal favorite in there is
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension
. Its a sci-fi adventure roughly along the lines of Back to the Future featuring the dynamite comedic team of John Lithgow and Christopher Lloyd.
