What a happy surprise!

A few days ago I decided to sell some of my games. Of course I wouldn't do this without checking its value first. When I got to Heroes of Might and Magic 4 I was up for a surprise. This game apparently has a value of somewhere between 30 and 40 pounds. That's more than I paid for it new 2 years back!
And this afternoon, when writing overviews, I decided to give the faulty Aerowings a try. It had never worked before, but who knows, maybe a miracle will happen. And it did! It's working perfectly fine!
Got any experiences like this?

When i started collecting i found in a closet while cleaning helping my house Captain Skyhawk and Marble Madness NIB and my Colecovision.
Then about 2 weeks later i decided to go through games at my dads house amd i has happy to find Chronotrigger and FF3 where worth 35 and 20 dollars more than my dad payed for them.

I have a copy of Powerstone 2 that is still sealed from the day I bought it. A few weeks ago I saw it go on Ebay for 150 bucks. I picked it up for $25.

Not entirely spectacular, but I bought a new Gameboy Light gold from CEX at least 5 years ago for £45. Managed to sell it on ebay a few months ago, in slightly less than new condition, for £47. RESULT!
