As a matter of fact...I'm selling Crazy Taxi 2 on eBay as I type this! Cheesy Wink

Another game that needs a TRUE sequel is Yoshi's Island...Yoshi's story is quite a bit different from YI...And not really near as good.  It's good, but YI is pretty much perfect.

What about Yoshi's Island DS? It's much in the vein of the original, but it's a bit more difficult IMO.

I'll also second Nights for the Saturn.

I thought YI DS was basically a direct port of the SNES version?

Nope, it's an entirely new game. Smiley

WOW...If only I could afford a DS!

Even if you could you still have to find one!!!! I don't know about where you live, but they are impossible to find in the St. Louis Area.

You're my hero. Vanilla Ice RULES! I can't believe that there is another SERIOUS Vanilla Ice fan on this site. The special edition DVD should be called "Cool As Ice: Drop That Zero Edition".

Terranigma is IMO the best SNES RPG, so if you like Illusion of Gaia, give its sequel a try. Chrono Cross is supposedly a very good game so I don't see why Leon doesn't acknowledge its existance. Yoshi's Island DS is just like the original except maybe a bit more puzzle oriented, which IMO is good.

For me however, I would kill to have a sequel to Skies of Arcadia. I know the entire world has been explored and there is virtually no way to create a sequel but damnit I want one.

Also, a few others I will throw out there... A sequel to Kid Icarus of Myths and Monsters(so essentially a third Kid Icarus), Jet Force Gemini, Beyond Good and Evil (that game left with a cliff hanger, too bad the sales of the game will never enable a sequel), another Game and Watch Gallery for the DS which I'm amazed hasn't happened yet, Donkey Kong Country 4, Uniracers though it would be wierd going back to only 2 racers at a time and also 3d wouldn't work.

Well that's about it. Good topic by the way. And to answer the topic title I would have to say Skies of Arcadia.

Thanks, I thought this would be a good discussion when I posted it, but couldn't think of one myself.
But now that I have thought about it. I would like to see another God of War, and Castlequest ( Nes).

God of War 2 was announced a while ago and is supposed to come out in February, but who knows when it will actually come out. I only hope that the game has a more complex battle system along the lines of Devil May Cry 3's.

A quick look at my collection and I can't see many recent games that haven't had a sequel. And if they haven't had one, they've got one on the way.
FORZA Motorsport - sequel due in March.
Manhunt - not really worth a sequel.
Dead Rising - not sure how they would make a sequel but it could easily do with some little tweaks to the gameplay.

Moving to my PC collection, there are a few which aren't sequels.
Grim Fandango - not played it yet but supposedly very good.
The Movies - Crikey! It's still sealed. That's not much good.
Monkey Island - defiinitely needs a sequel in the style of The Curse Of.
