nintendo can thank sony for their extra profits.  if the PSP or PS3 didnt have insane price points, N would have to lower the price point for the DS and Wii.  We all moaned when the Wii announced a price point of 249, but compared to 499/599 its still quite a bargain.

Uhh hardly anyone was outraged by the $250 price point. Think about it, it was the price of the Gamecube, no one was really dissapointed.

With that said, it's sad to see Gradius gone.

I agree. If they actually made good use of a patent other than sitting on it like a stock option I could see a problem, but this is just a Immersion wannabe.
