100 games including demos, protos, PC games.
After that 100 games, only for consoles.
Visit Japan.

BEACAUSE OF MY MOVE MANY OF THESE GOALS HAVE BEEN REEXAMINED
Kinda early still but:

All of the mortal kombat games released in the US for home consoles. (moderate) - very hard
All of the MK games released for/as portable consoles in the US (hard) - impossible

Hit the 1k game mark.( VERY easy) - impossible

Reach 150 PS (easy) - moderate
Reach 150 PS2 (easy) - moderate
Reach 150 Xbox games (moderate) - hard
Reach 100 SNES games (hard) - impossible
Reach 100 genesis games (moderate) - impossible
Reach 75 N64 games (moderate) - impossible
Reach 75 DC games (moderate) - impossible
Reach 75 cube games (moderate) - impossible
Reach 35 DS games (easy) - moderate
Reach 30 GBA (easy) - hard
Reach 20 360 games (easy) - hard
Reach 20 Wii games (moderate) - impossible

Might add more later

Deciced to add a "ranking system". It is mostly based on my prejudices towards systems and which ones i can get cheapest. Also if i keep being  CIB snob then it is going to be VERY hard for me and cart based stuff...

EDIT!
YEAH THE RATING SYSTEM BE DAMNED I WAS ABLE TO DO IT!

I would like to reach these numbers in my collection:

  NES  - 275   Accomplished Smiley
SNES  - 150
  PS1  - 100
  PS2  - 100
SEGA  - 100
  N64  -   75
XBOX  -   25

I think they are very attainable.  Anything extra would be great.

These goals might be harder to attain now. Since I lost my good job and now I make less money. Sad

Top off the Dreamcast collection for all US commercial releases.

I'm not going to make it.  I did however pick up a bunch of other gaming goodies this year.  I picked up a PS2 and twenty-some games, and will have a 360 in time for H3.

I see 2007 being a big year for Dreamcast collecting here. My main goal in 2007 is to get as many of the US Dreamcast games I can, at least have 150 games by the end of the 2007. I only have 40 right now, so it will be a good year for hunting. I can't wait until spring. Yard sales are where I find the best deals.

EDIT: April 15, 2007 I'm selling most of my games and just keeping the games I will play. I will most likely start collecting again once I'm out of school and have a job.

I really want to finish a system. I think my best bet would be 7800 for this one. I would also like to pass 200 games for 2600. I do kinda have money now, so I might be able to work on these.

My goal is to top 1k total games.  I'm still putting games in the database and I estimate I have almost 600 games so 1000 shouldn't be too hard.  I'm mainly concentrating on genesis and nes games.
