Although I've never played it, the appearance of Hoggle means it must be Labyrinth?

Labyrinth it is, one of my favourite C64 titles, although like many cassette games that are moderately difficult, I never finished it. The loading time to get back up to where you died last becomes unbearable too many times over.

It is indeed Utopia - The Creation of a Nation, it's the Amiga version (altho the ST version looks pretty much the same)

I wouldn't say it was my favourite, but it was highly enjoyable to play and yes, incredibly atmospheric!

But alas that's not good enough...

few clues: it starts with G, and it came out on the Amstrad, Spectrum and C64 as well.
