This game was released last year, and got physical copies in Europe, but was digital only in the US (which is probably why no one has guessed it yet).

Okay, it's been nearly two weeks.  No one has guessed the answer, so I can only assume that no one will.

The game is Anima: gate of Memories for the PS4.  The game does have an interesting back story.

Next poster posts a new screenshot - gotta keep the game going!
