Just looked it up, yep it went under the name Sega GT in the US. Interestingly I also came across a Dreamcast tech demo of it on YouTube when I googled Scud Race just now... pity that is all that ever came of it. I wonder why it never saw completion on the DC... anyway here is the next screen.
