Yep, it's Sacred 2.  I thought that screen pic looked kinda awesome.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure that the monster is based on an ammonite.

Same family. Nautilus still exists, while its much larger cousin the Ammonite does not. I could've just ventured a guess that it was Pokemon though:

I'm going to just flat out guess and say Gary's Mod.....


.....but mostly just because I would have backed up Shaggy and said, maybe he knew it was a Nautilus and was saying to release the Kraken because he wanted to see a monster fight!
