I did a little more research into games like this, and I didn't know there were so many games released outside of the traditional means, especially for the NES.

Since we have a lot of members involved in the community playthough involving an RPG...

I hope this one isn't too obvious. I haven't played it myself, but I am worried the cat-beast thing will give it away if it is a significant and noticeable character.
