And here's my next screen.
I had to pixelate part of it because the game flaunts its name down there.

Multiplatform.  The ones I'm aware of are MS-DOS, Mac, and Atari ST.

(The screen is from the DOS version.)

***WARNING INCOMING MOAN***

I like a bit of a challange with guessing the game on here BUT why does someone always have to post a picture of some really obscure game killing the thread?

Because the object of the game is to try and stump people?  Damned if I know the real point.

Anyway, one more hint.  If nobody gets it by tomorrow morning (it's 8 PM right now) I'll just give the answer.

When the game was released into the shareware channels, you actually got the full game.  However, you couldn't complete the game unless you paid for a book that gave you codes to get past a bunch of barriers placed in levels after level 10.  And that is how they made money.

(I'm kinda disappointed nobody's played this... it's really good IMHO)
