Wii memory cards

I know the Wii uses SD cards to save games can it use any SD/MMc cards or does it have to be a specific size or make? i have seen anything on it.

You actually don't need an SD card. The Wii actually saves games and data to the Wii's Internal Memory. The SD card currently is for if you want added space, but currently you can't directly save to the SD card. As far as I am aware of you can put whatever size SD card you want in the Wii.

512 MB will get filled really quickly with a lot of VC games

i thought they didnt save to it so as you couldnt copy them or use them on another Wii?
