You're my hero. Vanilla Ice RULES! I can't believe that there is another SERIOUS Vanilla Ice fan on this site. The special edition DVD should be called "Cool As Ice: Drop That Zero Edition".

NEC is out of the gaming biz, but they are very much still around.

man that sucks. at lea3t they are still a company. but to go from games to phones. didnt they used to make computers back in the 90's, too? i'd at least figured that they would do what sega  did and quit the consoles and just do games. all good things must come to an end, i guess.

NEC is a huge electrical company, they made my computer, monitor, and one of the VCRs in the house. My mate also has an NEC air-con.
NEC, Panasonic, and Philips are the only companies I truly trust thus far, as I have had a 100% success rate with all my products form these companies.

Last game related news from NEC I remember is Black-Matrix. I have it for my Saturn, but it also saw an update on the Dreamcast. They may or may not of made anything since, I'm not sure. Oh, and of course they also made the Dreamcast graphic processor, can't forget that  Tongue

Don't forget Samsung.

Why? The Dreamcast was on par with the Game Cube in terms of graphics.  At least it seems that way to me.

Well out of all fairness for the DC, it was against the N64, and PS1, and in comparison it truly blew your mind. I traded in my entire PS1 collection and got my DC for cheap, and never looked back  Grin

I mean, my god, it actually had texturing, not huge flat pixelated polygons for roads  Tongue

Then the PS2 came out, although the DC dose have smoother graphics, there is a technology difference with the DC being the 1st 128Bit system to market, and the PS2 can pump out a lot more polygons. In lamer terms, DC = Smoother graphics, PS2 = More detailed graphics.

Just as an idea for you name Leon, have you considered SLEONY
I noticed since my short absence your sig and avatar had undergone a huge transformation.

Don't take it personally. I'm just the tool bringing balance here. There's soooo many Nintendo and Sega and even M$oft fans on here that I feel I must provide for the Sony side. Unfortunately I have to sound like a maniac to even these things out.

And I never return to a name I've already had, unless it's simply The Maligned Leon.

Sleony would be too similar. Thanks for the suggestion though.
