I am so pissed, it appears they have blocked RF Gen at work.  I have been fighting with our Information Security group on my department's use of IM among ourselves (we setup our own jabber server).  They don't allow connection to external IM servers (like AIM) because they don't want people sending account information over an insecure connection (which makes sense we are a bank), but I don't see the issue since ours is internal only and inside the firewall.  In any event I have been making a stink about their stupidity and all of a sudden I can't get to RF Gen.  I guess it could be a coincidence but I doubt it.

No I haven't looked into that.  They blocked gmail a couple of months ago and I ended up setting up my gmail-lite on one of my domains.  Any suggestions on a proxy to try?

Have they blocked remote desktop?
You can always remote desktop into your home computer and then surf anywhere you want.

It took me a few mins to remember it.

Or you can just go to www.guardster.com scroll to the bottom of the page and pick the free option.

@Iz - Thanks I will check out guardster, I have been told they blocked a few of the more popular proxy's, that's why I never tried them when they blocked gmail but it can't hurt to try.

@Hydrobond - They have remote desktop disabled (and the exe may be removed) but I don't think it's blocked so I will check that out too.

I was just reading something that said try using google's translation proxy with it set to translate english to english. (ie http://www.google.com/tra...en&u=rfgeneration.com )  So I will give that a try too, worst case I guess I can use my cell phone as a modem with my laptop (both supplied by the bank Wink )  That may be the safest thing for now since the bastards may be watching me.  Wow does that sound paranoid or what!!

I switched over to CGIProxy and the seem much better, I don't have the issues with the way the site renders like I did with Proxifier.

Yeah it sucks but since we are a bank we have to do thing according to what the auditors from the federal reserve tell us.  I guess I should be happy they are trying to keep my money safe but it's still a pain in the ass.
