is Satellite 7 a Japan only release? I have Great Baseball albeit in cartridge form, just wondering if Sat 7 has a cart version for Pal as well?

Satellite 7 is indeed Japan-only. It's a pretty basic vertical shooter.
The Japanese Great Baseball and the JP/EU Great Soccer are both different (earlier) games to the cart versions too. The game released as Great Soccer in the US was known as World Soccer in other regions.
There's a couple of other Japanese cards missing from the list on the previous page too - Machine Gun Joe and PitPot (which was also released in Europe on the Astro Warrior/PitPot compilation)
Wonder Boy wasn't released on card for the Master System, although a fake pic has been kicking around the 'net for years. There was however a MyCard version released for the SG1000 in Japan.
Here's a complete list of games released on card for the Master System:
US
F-16 Fighting Falcon
Ghost House
My Hero
Spy vs Spy
Super Tennis
Teddy Boy
Transbot
Europe/Australia
Bank Panic
F-16 Fighter
Ghost House
Great Soccer [different game to the Great Soccer cart, sold in Germany/Italy/Australia only]
Hang On [boxed versions only sold in Australia & Italy - it was just a pack-in with early systems everywhere else]
My Hero
Spy vs Spy
Super Tennis
Teddy Boy
Transbot
Japan
[US/Euro name in brackets]
Astro Flash [Transbot]
Comical Machine Gun Joe
F-16 Fighting Falcon
Fushigi no Oshiro Pit Pot [Pit Pot]
Ghost House
Great Baseball [different game to the Great Baseball cart]
Great Soccer [different game to the Great Soccer cart]
Great Tennis [Super Tennis]
Hang On
Satellite 7
Seishun Scandal [My Hero]
Spy vs Spy
Teddy Boy Blues [Teddy Boy]
Woody Pop [listed as "coming soon" in some US/Euro catalogues, but only released in Japan]
There's also at least a couple of Gam*Boy [Korean SMS] cards - I've seen pics of both Spy vs Spy and Yamato (which was originally released in Japan as an SG1000 game). Could well be others too but, like all Korean stuff, they're extremely rare...

Damn, I was all set to send you to segamastersystem.com, but apparently the owner took it down.
The old segamastersystem.com has indeed died, but it's spiritual sucessor,
sega8bit.com
is alive & kicking

The only other place I can think of to find out something like that is DP, but I've never checked on anything but US games on their so I don't know how good their european lists are.
Well, I'd like to think their Euro SMS & MD lists are pretty accurate

Anagrama, I've been wondering about something for a while and you're the best person to ask. How many PAL Euro Master System games were officially released? I know it's only something like 110 or so for America.

It depends exactly what you count, but I peg it at 280 - that's 10 cards and 270 carts (which includes the alternate Image Works/Virgin versions of Speedball & Xenon 2 and the alternate Control Pad/Light Phaser versions of Assault City).
There's also the 10 Sega Classics reissues, 5 Kixx reissues, a few games (5 or 6) with alternate localized English/French/German/Spanish/Italian covers, 20 or so early German-only covers, 15 or 16 Portugese reissues with purple/white covers and a whole bunch of lesser variations...
Here's a pic of the basic 280 gathered together:

I have both versions of Speedball and I didn't even realise until about a month or so ago. I was adding all my Master System games to the database here when I saw there were 2 Speedballs on the shelf.
You should upload your collection pictures to your profile. I'd be interested to see all your Sega games.
My collection thread is
here
, not to go too far off topic in this thread.
PS: Tynstar has a complete US Genesis collection!

Wow! Now I want to go after Euro and Japanese SMS games!
btw, I seem to remember that Shinobiman was going to hand the reigns over to segamastersystem.com to someone when he was getting out of the scene. Was that you by any chance?

Nah, Andy (Sinistral) runs the show over there now - he actually started sega8bit.com before the old segamastersystem.com died, but the old sms.com forum was merged with the main sega8bit.com site after shinobiman decided to call it quits.
I do help out there though, mainly with the database & rarity list (aswell as spending far too much time on the forums
)

Yes, anagrama has good taste. He also has a nice selection of SG-1000, SC-3000 and Mark III games too.
