This was on Fark yesterday. They said she ended up paying $14000 for the phone. I love old people.

I've got a couple rotary phones in a box somewhere. She can have them.... for a small fee.

Strogen says she's not a big fan of her new push-button phone.

"I'd like to have my rotary back," she said. "I like that better."
Hell yes! Rotary phones kick huge amounts of ass. I wish I had one though. Maybe I should ask the phone company about leasing one.

reading it theer seams nothing wrong, she rented the phone and paid the bill thats how it works, So the phone was an old kind nothing wrong with that either she liked it was good enough for her so why change?

Really pushing the buttons might save you what 30 seconds over turning the dial so what???

Rotary phones are pretty sweet now because they are rare.  But I don't see how you can still get away without one, any time you have to call a company you have to use a tone phone.

The only good thing about rotary phones is that they're heavier than all the crap made nowadays. Take that house invaders!

Rotary phones where pretty nice.  I still keep a couple of cord phones.  Yes they do work in normal power outages unlike your cordless.
